th - The Bloomfields Dressage Championships 2020When : 25th April 2020

Where : Vale View Equestrian, Old Dalby, Melton Mowbray, Leics.  All tests will be ridden on surface.  The warm-up tests will be outdoor and the Championship tests will be indoor with excellent viewing for spectactors from the cafe area.

What : 4 x Warm Up Classes / 4 x Championship Classes*

The Classes for the Championships are as follows

How Do I Qualify : You must achieve 60% or higher in any test from Intro to Elementary at any dressage event you compete at.  You must download the form Qualifier Form Qualifier Form and ensure it is signed by the Show Secretary in order to validate your entry.  Once you have a qualifying score, you are able to enter any Championship class by online entry.  You can send in a copy of your qualification form and proof of test sheet score at any time  You do not need to qualify in order to JUST enter the Warm Up Classes nor will these classes be late qualifiers due to all Championship classes being timed.  You are welcome to enter a warm-up class as well as a Championship class, there is no restriction.

All riders in the Championship classes will have a number, which will need to be displayed on a bridle number. 

*The Championship classes will be split between Juniors and Seniors.  Juniors are those 16 years and under on 1st January 2020.

Rules and Regs : 

  • Callers will be allowed at the Championships. 
  • The event will be run according to BD rules, so please ensure you are familiar with these. 
  • Whips and spurs will be allowed so long as they are within the legal length.  
  • Entries will close on the Monday before event and times will be available via this page on the Thursday evening before the event, after 6pm. 
  • Horses and/or riders with more than 25 BD points at respective levels are not eligible for the Championship classes. 
  • It MUST BE the same combination that qualifies that rides in the Championship classes, no substitutions. 
  • Please note any entries without qualification proof will be voided.  
  • Strictly no refunds on any entries unless accompanied by a Veterinary certificate.
