Now that the nights are drawing in and the mercury is sinking, it’s the perfect time of year to cosy up on the couch with a glass (or several) of your favourite wine… but why not get ahead of the curve and treat yourself to a bottle you won’t find in your local supermarket?

On December 5^th, R&R Country are hosting a tasting night to showcase Caballo Oscuro, a beautiful range of award-winning wines and ports hailing from north-eastern Spain.

Whether you’re a cava connoisseur or more of a rose fan, there will be a wide selection to suit all tastes – and if you need any more persuading, 10% of sales on the evening will go to our local charity partner, Hope Pastures.

Yorkshire-based Lister’s crisps will be on hand to offer accompanying snacks, and local author Katie Bloom will be joining us once again to promote and sign copies of her recently published autobiography Hooves, Muscles & Sweat. Seeing as the festive season will be well underway, there will also be charity Christmas cards on offer along with 10% off homeware, toys, handbags and more to round off the evening – the perfect opportunity to slim down that Christmas shopping list!
