GAIN are delighted to announce two of the UK’s top show jumpers are joining ‘Team GAIN’. William Whitaker (left) and Guy Williams have both seen incredible success across the globe.

Whitaker, who stems from the famous Yorkshire Whitaker Show jumping dynasty, has competed from the age of eight, winning prestigious titles at every level. He has represented the UK on a number of occasions and was also selected to take part in the World Class Development Programme. This is a programme designed to help both horse and rider achieve their maximum potential through rigorous training and tutoring in many aspects of both human and equine science. Whitaker has recently returned from the USA and Belgium to now base himself at his family farm in Huddersfield.

Williams has a series of accolades to his name having previously won bronze at the European Championships, won the Hickstead Derby, landed the Hickstead Speed Derby five times, along with winning the masters at both Mechlen and Olympia. Previously based in both the USA and France but has recently come back to his roots in York to re-establish his yard the UK.

A past leading rider at the prestigious Horse Of The Year Show, Williams saw so much success over the years with his horse ‘Lora Piana Hamlet’ which he credits with changing his career.

Currently, the seventh highest Great Britain rider on the FEI rankings, and known for his speed against the clock, Williams will be an asset to have as part of ‘Team GAIN’.
