Horse & Country TV (H&C) today announced the launch of a new three-part series “Alan Davies Masterclass with NAF”, in which Alan shares some of the tips and techniques which have taken him to the very top of his trade. In his role as international travelling groom, Alan has clocked up many thousands of miles travelling to Olympic, World and European championships with Carl Hester and Charlotte Dujardin and their horses including Valegro, Uthopia and Nip Tuck.
With riding opportunities so restricted at present, it’s a great opportunity to learn and who better to learn from than the Super Groom himself. In each episode Alan demonstrates his approach to a range of topics which were suggested by H&C viewers keen to develop their own insight.
In the first episode we meet Olympic legend Uthopia and Alan talks about his approach to feeding routines and tying a haynet among other things. Future episodes cover subjects such as mane, tail and hoof maintenance, quarter marking, and Alan’s legendary plaiting technique. And of course there’s an appearance from Valegro.
Episode 1 premieres this Friday 17th April at 9pm on H&C Plus and will be followed by Episodes 2 and 3 at the same time on subsequent Friday evenings. All episodes will be available on demand to subscribers on the H&C website or in the free H&C apps.
