Sofia Games, aged 12, from Cheltenham is storming the Team GBR Dressage Scene.  Partnering with her new ride, ‘Mister Snowman’ Sofia became U16’s Reserve Champion at the recent Pony National Dressage Championships at Vale View.

In just their fourth outing together, Snowman and Sofia are already establishing themselves as a truly burgeoning duo.  An excellent first day score of 70.855% carried them to the top of the Pony Team Test leader board.  A final cumulative penalty score of 139.50% over the two days saw her secure the title of U’16s Pony FEI Reserve Champion by the tiniest fraction of 0.65%.  Beating many older, more seasoned combinations and belying her young age.

In addition to the competitive celebrations there have been some commercial celebrations too.  Sofia has secured sponsorship from the German Manufacturer uvex, who sponsor some of the world’s leading riders across the disciplines, not just Dressage.  Zebra Products which is located in North Wales distributes uvex throughout the UK.  Sofia now stands alongside their leading ambassadors such as Charlotte Dujardin and Laura Tomlinson and is destined for an exciting future in her chosen sport.
