It’s the equestrian event of 2012, and this year’s Your Horse Live is an exciting opportunity to see Great Britain’s potential Olympic medallists in action.
Olympic hopefuls Mary King, Carl Hester and Charlotte Dujardin will headline the event, and show the magic that makes them three of the world’s leading riders.
The two-day spectacular has unrivalled shopping, celebrities and incredible demonstrations from a range of equine disciplines, and takes place at Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire on November 10 and 11.
Eventer Mary King has had an iconic career spanning more than 30 years. A regular on British teams she has remained at the top of the sport through hard work, determination and natural talent. In her glittering career Mary has won medals at both World and European Championship level, most recently returning from Luhmuhlen in 2011 with a European team bronze. She has also represented Britain at the last five Olympic Games, taking team bronze in 2008 and team silver in 2004.
Mary will give an insight into the eventing world, with a demonstration that will show riders to be successful in all three phases of this exciting sport, with a special focus on how to tackle the cross country.
Dressage stars Carl Hester and Charlotte Dujardin will give an exciting masterclass, showcasing the knowledge and experience that has helped them produce some of the world’s best dressage horses such as Valegro and Uthopia.
In his competition career as a senior, Carl has amassed a record 44 national dressage titles and has been British Dressage National Champion five times. He has competed in three Olympics, one World Equestrian Games, four European Championships and has reached one World Cup Dressage Final.
Charlotte took part in her first Grand Prix in January 2011 riding Valegro and won, with a record debut score of 74%. At the European Championships in 2011 Charlotte was part of the team that won a historic team gold medal.
