TakeIt2TheLimit 150x100 - Northern Stallion Showcase moves to CumbriaOffering an unrivalled opportunity to see stallions from leading studs, the third running of the high profile Northern Stallion Showcase, supported by Baileys Horse Feeds, will take place on Sunday March 20th and move to the recently refurbished Newton Rigg College Equestrian Centre near Penrith in Cumbria.

Entries are anticipated once again from around 40 stallions representing a wide variety of breeds, types and bloodlines, travelling to Cumbria from all around the country.  The Showcase will enable mare owners from across the region to view those stallions which interest them both in the stables and in the Showcase arena, discuss their breeding ambitions with the stud and stallion owners and finalise plans for the 2016 stud season.

Supporting the Showcase for the third year, Baileys Horse Feeds Marketing Manager Jane Buchan echoed the comments of many visitors to last year’s event when she said: “As long term supporters of British Breeding, we were pleased to see such a variety of stallions, who between them generated so much interest. We are very much looking forward to this year’s Showcase and hope to meet new and familiar breeders alike at the new venue.”

Organised by the experienced team at Cumbrian-based equine PR agency Expo Life, the Northern Stallion Showcase is promoted nationally and Pam Harrison explains: “The opportunity to see such a large number of breeding stallions ‘in the flesh’ is of immense value to mare owners and equally interesting for anyone in breeding horses and ponies. The range of stallions to be showcased will include internationally successful sport horses, superb examples of Britain’s iconic native breeds, cobs, sport ponies and more unusual breeds and it will be a tremendous spectacle offering a great day out.

Spectator tickets for the Showcase and stallion entry forms can be obtained from the Northern Stallion Showcase office on 01228 675000 with information online at www.northernstallionshowcase.co.uk – on facebook – and on – Twitter
