Mackenzie & George’s first collection of silk Twillies is now available online, providing the brand’s fans with great accessories that can be styled and worn in numerous ways.
Each double sided silk scarf has been designed to be narrower than a standard scarf, making it much easier to use in different places. The Twilly makes the perfect neckerchief but is also ideal on a handbag handle, in hair, on the wrist, around a fedora and so much more.
“We’re delighted to have our first range of Twillies online now,” said Melanie Clarihew, co-founder of Mackenzie & George who also designed these scarves with Irish designer Tru Tru Stories. “All four designs have a strong country theme with feathers and pheasants featuring strongly, and we’ve been careful with the colour choices too to ensure that they complement the kind of colours our customers wear. We have navy blue/coral that is perfect for a colour pop, burgundy/grey, yellow/teal, olive/purple, so all have a lighter and a darker side to give customers even more options. We’ve loved seeing how people are styling them already and can’t wait to see how they get used through the season.”
As mentioned, the Twillies have a double sided design with both designs being hand painted before being digitally printed onto silk. They come supplied in a gift box making them a great present, but the box also provides a handy place to keep the Twilly when it’s not being used.
The Silk Twilly retails at £59.99 online.
