EquestrianClearance.com sponsored young showjumper Laura Robinson and her team of horses and ponies showed consistent good form recently at the Cushionbed British Showjumping Scope Festival.
Laura had a really successful week picking up placings in almost every class she entered clocking up over £3000 in prize money over a very busy show with her four rides.
Laura and the 148cm mare Wizard won a Pony Starspotters Championship preliminary round and finished fifth in the final.
In the Dunglenn National 148cm Championship preliminary round Laura picked up a third placing riding Salvador, and finished third in the final.
The seven-year-old bay gelding Jonti showed good form in the 7/8 Year Old National Championships. Laura rode him to finished sixth in the Horse of the Year Show qualifier and being the second highest placed seven-year-old Jonti is now qualified for HOYS. Laura finished eighth in the final with fences reaching a massive height of 1.50m.
Laura and Jonti also had success in the National Under 16 Championship finishing second in the preliminary class and then eighth in the final.
In the Children on Horses Championships Laura jumped Cree Cruiser in a very close competition. They finished third, only 0.22 seconds behind the winner, and then went on to be second in the final.
Laura also jumped Cree in the Under 18 and Under 21 Championships picking up a third in the preliminary round and then in the Under 18 National Final finished sixth with a fence down in the jump off.
In the Ladies National Final, Cree finished eighth and in the Bilton Ward Developments Pairs Final, they teamed up with Charlie Dawson riding Marthas Darling, to take the class and the prize fund of £1000.
Laura’s youngsters, Corelli and Arkol also made an outing, both ridden by Julie Andrews, they showed good form winning their classes and proving that they are ones to watch in the future.
Laura is now heading for HOYS and hoping she can continue her good results.
