Leading international showjumper, Guy Williams, has launched his new Guy Williams Jumping Club which includes the chance to be part of world-famous Mr Blue Sky UK.
Mr Blue Sky UK, the gorgeous grey famous for his performances in the puissance classes is the first horse to be added into Guy Williams Jumping Club.
Syndicates and racing clubs are hugely popular in horse racing and Williams is aiming to get more show jumping fans closer to the action by offering membership shares in Mr Blue Sky UK.
Guy Williams said;
“Guy Williams Jumping Club has been set up to give show jumping fans the opportunity to be part of a world class showjumper and I believe there’s no better horse to be involved in than Mr Blue Sky UK.
Whenever “Blue” competes, especially in the puissance classes, the interest in him is unbelievable. The amount of people who want to take a glimpse of him, posting videos and photos on social media is astonishing. I’m regularly asked by his fans if they can have their photos with him so I came up with the idea of putting together a Club so his fans can get closer to the action and see what goes on behind the scenes but also be part of the Mr Blue Sky UK journey.
In horse racing there are hundreds of syndicates and racing clubs, so the model and idea is nothing new, however I think it’s a great opportunity for show jumping fans to join the Club which gives many benefits along the way. The Club has already attracted many Mr Blue Sky UK fans, and I even got to meet some of his new members at Northcote International over the weekend which was fantastic.”
For a one-off yearly fee of £95, shareholders get a welcome letter, signed photo of Mr Blue Sky UK, personalised membership share certificate, and regular updates of Mr Blue Sky UK’s progress throughout the year. Behind the scenes footage of “Blue” will be available to his members and the chance to enter many competitions including a private lesson with Guy.
Guy will be hosting stable visits throughout the year so members of the Club can come and watch Mr Blue Sky UK train at home and see some of his other stable stars.
Mr Blue Sky UK is set to compete this Thursday in the puissance at Royal Windsor and his members can enter a ticket ballot to win tickets to see him in action.
The Club has already proved extremely popular as a gift idea.
