Can you take up the Brooke 2.6 Challenge

The UK charity sector is set to lose £4bn in income over 12 weeks as a result of Covid-19, and so the goal is to raise £67 million for UK charities – the original target of the postponed London Marathon, which was due to take place on the 26th.

So, Brooke is asking supporters to take part in any activity of their choice on 26 April, based around the numbers 2.6 or 26 or any combination of 2 and 6. These activities can include:

  • Run, walk, skip, hop, cycle for 2.6km or 2.6miles around your garden or neighbourhood
  • Do 26 press ups or sit ups without stopping
  • In 26 seconds… make an omelette, hold a plank, balance something on a part of your body
  • Do a sponsored silence, give up sugar or chocolate or drive family and friends mad with sing-a-thon for 26 hours

Supporters are encouraged to make a donation to Brooke via the 2.6 Challenge campaign on JustGiving or Virgin Money Giving:
