From Cartmel to Carlisle and Fontwell to Ffos Las, keen racing fans, including Her Majesty the Queen, are set for a fantastic four days of racing over the Diamond Jubilee Weekend, with 20 fixtures over the four-day holiday.
Starting the weekend in style is the most famous race in the World – The Investec Derby at Epsom on Saturday 2nd June – which is part of the prestigious QIPCO British Champions Series and will see the Queen in attendance as part of her Diamond Jubilee celebrations. Also on Saturday there will be racing from six other racecourses around Britain, including Beverley, Cartmel, Catterick, Haydock Park, Musselburgh and Stratford-on-Avon.
On Sunday there’s racing from Nottingham, Uttoxeter and Fontwell Racecourses, with the latter organising a family fun day that includes chair-o-planes, games stalls, funfair rides, penalty shoot-out inflatables, face painting and much more!
Bank Holiday Monday provides another six opportunities to go racing, including Chepstow, who will be hosting their British Street Party Raceday where there will be face painting, trampolines and inflatables to keep the youngsters entertained. Tuesday 5th June, the fourth and final day of the bank holiday weekend, sees racing from Leicester, Redcar, Yarmouth and Ffos Las.
